Curtiss-Wright Controls Avionics & Electronics (CWC-AE) presents the PGS suite of turnkey and flexible flight data analysis software for Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA), Maintenance and Flight Data Recorder Replay/Analysis Applications.
PGS is a complete solution that encompasses all the necessary tools to provide the operator with a clear interpretation of flight data and detected exceedences. PGS has been designed to meet customer requests to daily replay and analysis of in-flight recorded data for more efficient maintenance, flight operations and flight safety programs.
PGS suite encompasses the following software:
PGS Discovery System (PGS-DS) provides basic download & replay support for CVR and FDR data through the inclusion of a single pre-defined DAU frame layout. Data is viewable as plots or lists.
PGS Vision System (PGS-VS) is a purposely-designed viewer to simplify FDR data readout and replay. PGS-VS provides editors and tools that ease every day operation. PGS-VS also comprises powerful audio decoding algorithms to convert CVR audio encoded data to standard Microsoft© WAV files format and replay audio records synchronized to the flight data.
PGS Analysis System (PGS-AS) contains all the necessary tools that make daily flight data analysis easy. Building event detection programs, launching automatic analysis programs and reporting detected events becomes simple and practical with PGS-AS. In addition, all detected events are managed into a powerful statistical database.
PGS Visualisation is an add-on module to the main PGS system and provides 3D visualisation capability to review animated aircraft operation. Visualisation provides multiple aircraft support with instrument editor functions which permit the user to replicate aircraft instrument panels.
