Telemetry ground station with smart source selection
Description
The GTS/SYS/005 is a telemetry ground station which includes two E-band telemetry receivers (GTS/RCV/001/PBEs), a bit-synchronizer with smart source selection and PCM decommutator (GTS/DEC/004), and a time reference card with GPS input and IRIG-B input/output (GTS/GPS/002).
The GTS/SYS/005 takes advantage of powerful IADS-based GS Works software for real-time and post-test data analysis and visualization. GS Works includes high-fidelity strip charts with threshold checking, frequency-response plots with predicted data overlays, moving maps showing multiple target relationships and cross plots with envelope calculations. All displays can instantly recall any portion of the test data for display and analysis without affecting real-time data performance.
The GTS/SYS/005 is deployed as a 19-inch rack mount unit using a GTS/IPC/002 industrial PC with Intel Core 2 Quad processor.
