CWC-AE has extensive experience in providing systems for use in space applications including launcher testing and monitoring, and flight test and data gathering on space vehicles (drop tests, orbital re-entry and ISS docking). Current developments include data gathering and monitoring onboard multiple systems on the ISS including critical systems and data gathering on the IXV re-entry vehicle.Our customers include SpaceX, NASA, ESA, Scaled Composites, ULA, USA, CIRA and Sierra Nevada.
CWC-AE’s data acquisition hardware can be used for space telemetry and telecommand applications for on-board data handling or as a payload interface unit. Because they have a highly rugged design, our electronics can withstand the extreme environmental conditions encountered in space. Our data acquisition units have earned a Technology Readiness Level of 9 for launcher applications on the NASA/ESA TRL scale through their operational flight heritage and extensive environmental qualifications.
